You will now be asked to Read the stock file from the computer press YES. Wait for the read process to complete. It is VERY IMPORTANT not to unplug the tuner or try starting the engine during the READ/WRITE process. Memory damage may occur. With the read process you are just reading the ECU not modifying it in any way so once the read is done and stored into the programmer you are able to start the engine and use the machine as normal. Step 2 – Transferring the READ file to your PC You will now need to go to your computer and install the supplied CD. The software will open and immediately look for the programmer tool. Step 3 – Loading the Tuned file into the programmer Once we have modified the file and emailed it back you will need to save the new tuned file to your computers desktop. Connect the programmer using the USB cable and open the HDT Interface software. Confirm the upload clicking YES. Once the upload has completed you are now ready to close the software and disconnect the tool for your computer. Wait for the writing process to complete. DO NOT TURN THE KEY OFF OR ATTEMPT TO START THE ENGINE! Once the writing process is completed you will now turn off the ignition and disconnect the tool.
